The best in Barrow by far. Someone said the staff were a bit stern. For me they aren't. I always have a chat; brief though because they work like trojans. The queue is sometimes half way up the street which is very indicative of the quality of this place, but it goes quickly.

You know when you fancy a chippy tea, and you imagine the exact taste of what you expect, you plan in your head what you're gonna get etc? This is that chippy. Perfect every time, tastes exactly how it should (some chippies are so inconsistent), always fresh, crisp, not greasy and generous portions. It's usually fairly busy, but they're always well equipped to deal with a queue and you're never waiting too long (it's worth it anyway.) A really good menu too for when you fancy a change, AND they're always really well wrapped so it's still warm when you get home. My fave chippy by a mile.

This chippy is the best, nice fresh fish, chips are nice so are the peas. Proper dark green mushy peas not the lime green ones that look like they come from sellafield lol. They also do Hot curry sauce i highly recommend it. Staff are nice and friendly and they do Dandelion and burdock pop. What more could you ask for. Give them a try you wont be disappointed.

Best fish and chips iv had in years….customer service as it should be! I walked into the shop to a que of people but was welcomed by a man asking me if i wanted a fish and proceeded to batter and put my fish to fry. If you own a chip shop and its doing rubbish go here for some tips…..:they have nailed it.
